Frequently Asked Questions
Compliancedashboard is completely web based - there is no software to download.
Once your company has been loaded onto the system, you will receive:
- Compliancedashboard URL
- User ID
- Password
Simply copy the URL into your browser's address bar and hit enter. This will take you to the Compliancedashboard login page where you will enter your User ID and Password.
Information is updated on a regular and ongoing basis. The web site will reflect any applicable new law or change to an existing law within 30 days of it being signed into law. In cases where a law is effective prior to 30 days after it's passage, the new law will be reflected within 14 days after final regulations are posted by the appropriate agency.
Material contained in Compliancedashboard is a compilation of generally published information by the Department of Labor and other public agencies regulating employee benefit plans and employee benefit issues. It is not legal advice, and should not be construed as legal advice. If legal advice or other professional assistance is or may be required with regard to any issues referenced in this website, the services of a competent legal or tax professional should be immediately sought.
Compliancedashboard sends emails when it is time to complete a compliance activity or to remind you that a compliance task is pending. If you do not receive these emails, it is typically the result of one of two things:
- Spam Filter: Check your email spam filter to see if it contains messages from "Compliance Dashboard." If so, click here for instructions on resetting the filter so that it will allow these messages to come to your inbox.
- Incorrect Email Address: An incorrect email address may have been loaded into the system. If you suspect this is the case, contact the person in your company with the "HR Manager" login credentials to Compliancedashboard. Ask this person to check your email address under Manage Benefit Administrators in the Tools section of the web site.
The compliance activity web page provides a concise description of a law or a portion of a law that relates to your health and welfare plan. You can learn more about this law in one of two ways:
- Other Resources: The Other Resources box on the right side of the web page contains links to other areas on the Internet or other forms that have additional information about the law. Typically, this will include a link to the specific page on the Department of Labor web site that describes the law.
- Education Presentation: One of the links under Other Resources takes you to an Education Presentation. This provides a user friendly way to research the various components of the law. Simply click on the link to load the presentation, which will appear in a separate window. All presentations have a menu bar on the left so that you can quickly find the information you need.
